Workshop led by the visionary Touchdesigner Luke (SKYWALKER VISUALS), ‘’art of audio-reactive creation’’ teaches how to translate sonic landscapes into dynamic visual experiences, crafting performances that pulse with the rhythm and energy of music. This session is your gateway to becoming a master of audiovisual alchemy.

 

  • Audio Ecosystem Mastery: Seamlessly set up audio input/output, including virtual drivers, to bridge the gap between your sound and your visuals.
  • Generative Audio & TDableton: Discover how to harness generative audio and integrate TDableton & grabber plugin for powerful sound manipulation.
  • Dissecting Sound: Master audio spectrum analysis, breaking down bass, mid, and high frequencies, and explore extra audio analysis tools for nuanced control.
  • Crafting Reactive VJ Loops: Playing with VJ loops, incorporating sophisticated AV feedback techniques for ever-evolving visual narratives.
  • Live AV Performance Workflow: Understand the intricacies of a professional live audiovisual performance setup, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Animation with Timelines: Learn to orchestrate intricate animations with precision using TouchDesigner's timeline, (Workflow).
  • MIDI for Live Control: Integrate MIDI input for real-time triggering of visuals, and record MIDI chops to capture your expressive performances.

     

End of Day Outcome:
Each participant will export a compelling 15-second audio-visual loop, ready to ignite a digital stage, or engage in a dynamic, short jam session with fellow participants, experiencing the thrill of real-time AV collaboration.
 

Note:
This workshop series is designed for individuals with varying levels of TouchDesigner experience. While a general understanding of generative media and the basic structure of TouchDesigner is important, the modular nature of the workshops allows participants to engage at their own pace and focus on areas of interest.
