(b. 1983, Bielefeld) is a German electronic music producer and multimedia artist known for his conceptual and textural approach to sound, image, and installation. A long-time affiliate of the Raster label, his work explores fragmented structures, raw materials, and introspective sonic environments that blur the line between club culture, contemporary art, and philosophical inquiry.

Lichtenberger’s process often unfolds in focused, self-contained phases that reflect his autodidactic, intuitive method of working—one that embraces imperfection, tactility, and resistance to convention. His sound and visual works are rooted in archival practices and personal narratives, balancing immediacy with conceptual depth.

His audiovisual performances and installations have been presented internationally, including at MUTEK Montréal, Elektra, Atonal Berlin, Sou Festival in Tbilisi, and Enjoy Art Space in Leeds. In 2013, he received an honorary mention from Ars Electronica. He also composed the score for Last Work by choreographer Ohad Naharin for the Batsheva Dance Company in 2015. Lichtenberger studied philosophy and art history and has been based in Berlin since 2008.
