Aleksi Soselia is a Tbilisi-based curator, multimedia artist, audio-visual performer and cultural organiser working across contemporary art, moving image and interdisciplinary cultural production.
He is co-founder of the Georgian Video Art Archive and the Creative Clusters Association, and co-curator at the Center of Contemporary Art – Tbilisi. His experience includes working as Technical Manager of the Georgian Pavilion at the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale, co-organising the Tbilisi Triennial and Tbilisi Architecture Biennial, and being part of the organising team of TKESHI Experimental Audio-Visual Festival.
His artistic and curatorial work has been presented internationally in Vienna, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Berlin, Bonn, Prague, Gothenburg, Shanghai and Taiwan. Working with video, sound, performance, education and archival research, his practice focuses on social transformation, future perspectives, participatory culture and the connections between contemporary artistic disciplines.
