Homo Freq  is an experimental platform dedicated to transforming the opera landscape in Georgia. Responding to the dominance of traditional repertoire in local opera houses, the project creates space for contemporary opera by integrating electronic music, multimedia, technology, and real-time improvisation.

As Georgia currently lacks a dedicated venue for experimental opera, Homo Freq provides a collaborative environment where vocalists, electronic musicians, visual artists, and choreographers can explore new artistic expressions. Through site-specific performances, workshops, and artist-led discussions, it encourages interdisciplinary dialogue and innovation.

By documenting and sharing all performances online, Homo Freq ensures broader accessibility while positioning Georgia as a global hub for avant-garde opera. The project not only supports emerging artists but also engages younger, tech-savvy audiences, inviting them to experience opera in radically new and immersive ways.
